Portrait Study, 6"x 6" acrylic on board
This is the portrait I painted for the year end challenge on the Different Strokes from Different Folks blog. I used the Zorn pallette and painted with a pallette knife. I've never attempted to paint a portrait with a pallette knife but it forced me to concentrate more on color value and "loosen up". I was pleased with how it turned out.
